Besides the regular Funk Wire sessions, the continuing Creative Writing Group and the upcoming Shakespeare Project we have planned more activities for you to participate in:

 

Creative Writing Workshop with Ian Clayton

Wednesday 17th August 2022 10am – 4pm 
Arncliffe Village Hall 

Ian Clayton is a freelance writer and, in a career spanning 20 years, he has edited and authored more than forty books and broadcast on TV and radio. If you would like to try your hand at creative writing for the first time or if you have more experience and want to improve your skills this workshop is a must. Ian will explore the wonderful world of creative writing and his experience and guidance will make this workshop a day to remember.

UWALS AGM 

Wednesday 27th  November 7pm at Conistone with Kilnsey Hall.

We are very pleased to have Dr. Malcolm Petyt speak to us . He will explore what is covered by the term “dialect” and how Emily Bronte displays many features of her local dialect in Wuthering Heights.
